Gemini: Tell It In Your Own Language
Purpose:
Created for the Young Ones Student Awards 2026 with Google, this project explores how Google Gemini can spark curiosity and expand learning by turning one student’s challenge into a ripple effect that benefits the broader educational community.
Role:
I served as a strategist on this project, contributing during Phase 2 and helping guide implementation changes from the initial submission. My role focused on refining the overall craft by clarifying the concept and strengthening how the idea connected across the final execution.
Our Project:
A first-generation college student and refugee struggles to express herself in a new language and environment. Using Gemini, she transforms her personal drawings into an animation that tells her family’s story, turning private memories into work that can be shared and understood. Gemini helps students translate their identities, experiences, and creativity into powerful new forms of expression, making the invisible visible.
